Friends of Santa Ana Zoo Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Santa Ana Zoo. There are many exciting ways for you to get involved and help out at the Santa Ana Zoo!
The Friends of Santa Ana Zoo seeks volunteers for departments listed below. Contact information and age requirements are listed within each description.
If you are interested in volunteering with the City of Santa Ana as a Zoo Ambassador, Family Farm Monitor, Animal Services volunteer, or Zoo Buddy, click here for more information.
Friends of Santa Ana Zoo (a 501c3 non-profit organization) has a need for volunteers seeking community service hours, and we encourage you to complete your requirements at the Zoo. We have an opportunity for you to help welcome our guests at the gate, check in parties, and greet Zoo Members with stickers for most Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 2pm. Every month, something new and interesting is happening at the Santa Ana Zoo! Many events wouldn’t be possible without the help of generous volunteers.
Special events volunteers assist with crafts, games, and other events operations. Minimum age 13 years old.

Is office work your cup of tea? Do you enjoy working on computers? Then helping out filing, stuffing, folding, labeling, or entering data may be your perfect match. No experience required, although let us know if you have experience with QuickBooks and/or MS Excel. It's fun, easy and interesting. Work mornings or afternoons, weekdays only.
